I am the former owner of Toowoomba Removals, Dalby, Chinchilla and Kingaroy Removals as well as Marathon Removals in Hervey Bay, Queensland.
I tried to retire but realised there is a market for those wanting to hire a truck and complete the move themselves.
I work in with Pink Lady Pre Pack and Removals for assistance with your prepack where necessary. Pricing is $16.50 per book box and $22 per tea chest, including GST.

HOW THINGS WORK.
A. The truck includes 2 trolleys, furniture blankets sufficient for the size of the truck, a piano trolley, a furniture trolley and associated ties. The Pantech body is the same as in a professional removalist truck.
B. My Truck is 25m³ versus the major companies whose trucks are 19m³ to 20m³. Also my truck is 2.35m high inside versus theirs at 2.1m high inside. (i.e. longer and higher!)
C. I deliver the truck to you. I set it up. You load it. I take the truck to the delivery point. You unload it.
D. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK OR YOUR BELONGINGS while loading, during transit and unloading.
E. You will need your own transit insurance.
F. You are also responsible for any injury to any onesetting up, loading or unloading the truck.
G. The truck is driven by me, as it is not able to be driven on a car licence. Insurance dictates that I drive the truck.
H. 8 X 5 Trailer hire also available at hirers risk.

All pricing below is plus GST.
Starts at $250 per day for Toowoomba city limits, plus fuel, based on 5 km/litre for the travel depot to depot.
Labourers/Driver available
- Unskilled Labourer – $35 hour
- Skilled Labourer to pack a truck – $45 hour
- Skilled Labourer/Driver – $65 hour
- Deposit is $500 cash, refunded when the truck is checked at completion of unloading to ensure all supplied equipment is intact
- Payment is then EFTPOS or cash for the hire
